Inhabit Hotels x Byway

B Corp Partners

What do you get when you combine scenic rail journeys with sustainable wellness-focused accommodation? Cue our anticipated Byway X Inhabit Hotels partnership.

As fellow B Corps, we're delighted to partner with Inhabit Hotels because of our shared vision of sustainable travel. Together, we envisage a future of travel that's as good for people as it is for the planet, so you don't have to sacrifice experience for the environment. These wonderful co-curated trips begin and end at Inhabit Hotels in Southwick Street and Queen’s Gardens, both just minutes by foot from Paddington station.

Inhabit Hotels were among the first hotels in the UK to earn B Corp status and they also hold the Green Key certification, a globally recognised benchmark in sustainable tourism. All this combined with Byway's carefully designed 100% slow travel itineraries enables travellers to slow down and experience the next generation of sustainable travel.

What to expect at Inhabit Hotels?

Set a few streets apart, each Inhabit Hotel is focused on wellbeing, with Scandinavian-inspired interiors made with renewable materials, plant-centric menus, yoga classes and nature-themed spa treatments making them the ideal place to begin and end a trip. Guests can explore the curated library of inspiring reads, borrow bikes to explore the city, or take part in guided nature walks through nearby green spaces. Both hotels are a short walk from London Paddington station making it easy to begin a slow travel adventure.

Why take the train?

Slow travel allows you to add another level of adventure to your trip. Skip traffic jams and passport control lines and discover the joy of travelling scenic landscapes by rail.

Travelling by train is also one of the most environmentally friendly modes of transport. For example, on your way to Italy, you could enjoy a night’s stopover in the beautiful cities of Paris and Nice. Deciding to take the train from London to Italy produces only 211kg of CO2 compared to 965kg of CO2 if you choose to take a flight.
